Airport Lounges at Dubai International (DXB), Terminal 3

These lounges are in Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), on the side for passengers who have cleared passport control and security. You can choose between two options: Plaza Premium Lounge in Concourse A, for a stay of two hours with no shower, or Ahlan Lounge above Gate C13, for a stay of 3 hours.

Plaza Premium Lounge: the lounge serves passengers on international departures, and it is on level 4 of Concourse A, in the West Wing, past the duty-free shopping area and between Gates A2 and A3. You take the lift from the duty-free area. Its area is about 1,260 square metres, and it holds up to 300 guests.

What is in Plaza Premium Lounge: comfortable seating, Arabic, Asian and international cuisine prepared in the lounge's kitchen, tea and coffee served throughout the day, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks from the bar. There is also Wi-Fi, charging stations, flight information, international TV channels, newspapers and magazines, a smoking room, prayer rooms and a children's play area with wooden toys. It is a good place to recharge between flights without passing through customs and immigration, or to get some work done on the Wi-Fi and charging stations.

What is not included at Plaza Premium Lounge: a shower, because the option on this page is without a shower. Private meeting rooms, private family suites, some alcoholic drinks, which may carry a charge, tips and additional food and drinks are also not included. You need to bring a passport.

Ahlan Lounge: the lounge is above Gate C13 in Terminal 3, after passport control and the security check, and entry is only with a valid boarding pass. It is open all day. The option on this page is 3 hours of use.

What is in Ahlan Lounge: hot and cold meals and snacks, hot and cold drinks, including alcoholic ones, and vegetarian and halal options. There is Wi-Fi, computer access and printing, charging stations, a flight monitor, newspapers and magazines, and a view of the runways. The lounge also has showers, massage chairs, a rest area, baby changing facilities, a prayer room and a designated smoking area, and it is air-conditioned and accessible to people with disabilities.

Conduct: please keep quiet and behave respectfully, and smoke only in the designated smoking area.

Ages: for the Plaza Premium Lounge option the ticket is from age two and over. For the Ahlan Lounge option the ticket is per passenger, and no age range is given.

Cancellation: the Plaza Premium Lounge option is not cancellable. The Ahlan Lounge option is cancellable.

How to choose: Plaza Premium Lounge suits a short stay of two hours without a shower, close to the shopping area. Ahlan Lounge suits a stay of 3 hours, with showers, massage chairs and alcoholic drinks included in the option.
