Grand Millennium Al Wahda is a 5-star Millennium hotel in central Abu Dhabi, on Hazza Bin Zayed Street. The hotel is part of the Al Wahda complex, so Al Wahda Mall sits right next to it. It's a city hotel, with no beach, suited to travelers who want a central base in the city rather than a resort.
Its advantage for families is the apartments. Beyond rooms and suites, there are one-bedroom apartments (70–77 sqm), two-bedroom apartments (110–115 sqm) and even three-bedroom apartments (156 sqm) — all with a separate living room and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The standard rooms, Superior and Deluxe, are 36 sqm and fit up to three guests. A few house rules worth knowing: check-in is 21 and over only, the whole hotel is non-smoking (with designated outdoor smoking areas), pets aren't allowed, and parking is free for guests, including valet service. One child up to age 6 stays free using existing bedding.
The location is central: per the supplier's description, the Corniche is a four-minute drive away, Etihad Towers is seven minutes away, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is about 15 km away. From Zayed International Airport, guests arrive by taxi or by pre-booked hotel transfer. Anyone visiting Abu Dhabi mainly for the Yas Island parks will need to travel there, but the hotel itself is convenient for shopping and touring the city.
