Fairmont The Palm: A Day at the Pool and the Beach with a Sunbed
A day pass to the pools and the private beach of the Fairmont The Palm hotel: a sunbed with towels, changing rooms, a sauna and a steam room, or a cabana on the beach with a food and drink credit.
A day pass on Palm Jumeirah is the way to enjoy a hotel beach without booking a room. At Fairmont The Palm you can buy day access to the hotel's pools and private beach, with a sun lounger and towel service. For more privacy, book a beachfront cabana instead. It's a day of sun, water and rest, facing the Dubai Marina skyline.
The hotel sits on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, the man-made island shaped like a palm tree. According to the hotel's website, it has a private white-sand beach 800 metres long. The pools are heated or cooled according to the season, so the water is comfortable in both winter and summer. There's a family pool and an adults-only pool, 21+. Both are open daily from 7:00 to 19:00.
The beach belongs to Bask Beach Club, the hotel's beach club. It's open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. The club has a bar under a wooden pergola, background music, and a menu of Mediterranean and Asian dishes and cocktails, ordered separately. There are also live performances Thursday to Sunday. The vibe is relaxed, though not entirely quiet.
There are three ticket types. The basic one is a sun lounger by the pool and on the beach: a spot on a lounger, towels and a parasol, plus use of the changing rooms, lockers, sauna and steam room. This ticket is also available for children aged 6 to 16. The other two types are beachfront cabanas, standard or front-row facing the sea. The cabana price includes a credit you can use on food and drink at the club.
What does the day look like? Arrive at the hotel and head to the Health Club reception. Show your voucher there and receive a wristband. A staff member then walks you to the beach or pool and shows you your lounger or cabana. From there you can move between the pool and the sea as much as you like, have lunch at the club, and rest in the shade.
Who is it for? Families, thanks to the family pool and child ticket. Couples who want a relaxed day without booking a night at the hotel. And anyone staying in the city or in Marina who wants a single day at a Palm hotel beach. The cabana suits a small group or a celebration, since it gives you shade and seating of your own.
