Terms of use

This is a translation for convenience. If there is any difference, the Hebrew version prevails.

1. General

The site mydubai-travel.com ("the Site") is operated by מאי דובאי תיירות פרימיום (My Dubai Premium Tourism) ("MY DUBAI" or "we"). These terms apply to any use of the Site and to any request for or booking of a service through it or through our contact channels. Use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Site and do not book through it.

The terms are written in the plural and refer to all genders. The headings are for convenience only. These terms of use supplement the Cancellation policy, the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy. If there is a conflict between these terms and a booking confirmation you received in writing, the booking confirmation prevails with respect to that booking.

2. Definitions

  • Service: an attraction, tour, cruise, transfer, accommodation or any other tourism service in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates that can be booked through us.
  • Supplier: the local party that actually provides the service, such as an attraction operator, a tour company, a transfer company or a hotel.
  • Bookers: anyone who contacts us with a request for a service or books a service, for themselves or for additional travellers.
  • Booking confirmation: a written message from us that sets out the service, the date, the number of participants, the price and the cancellation terms.

3. What we do

MY DUBAI acts as an intermediary in booking tourism services in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates: attractions, tours, transfers and hotels. We do not operate the services ourselves. The service itself is provided by local suppliers, and they are responsible for actually delivering it, for safety and for quality. We are responsible for the intermediation: for checking availability, for passing the exact booking details to the supplier, for the information we give you and for the service we provide to you before and during the trip.

When you book a service, a contractual relationship is also created with the supplier, and the service is also subject to the supplier's rules, such as age, height or health restrictions, dress code, arrival times and cancellation terms. These rules appear in the booking confirmation or are given to you before payment.

4. Use of the Site

  • Booking services is permitted to anyone aged 18 or over who is legally entitled to enter into a binding contract. Minors may take part in services when an adult books on their behalf.
  • The Site may be used for personal and lawful purposes only.
  • It is forbidden to interfere with the operation of the Site, to attempt to break into its systems, to run automated content-collection tools on it, or to upload offensive or harmful content to it.
  • We may change the Site, disable parts of it or stop its operation, temporarily or permanently, without prior notice.

5. Checking availability and booking

  • Enquiries to us are made on WhatsApp. The availability widget and the forms on the Site prepare a WhatsApp message for you with the details you selected, and you send it yourself.
  • An enquiry is a request to check availability. It is not a booking, and it does not bind you or us.
  • A booking is considered final only after two things: a written booking confirmation from us, and payment according to the instructions in the confirmation. Until then the place is not reserved, and the price and availability may change.
  • Before paying, read the booking confirmation and check all the details. If something is not correct, contact us immediately.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide: the travellers' names as they appear in the passport, the number of participants, children's ages, the hotel name, the flight number and a phone number that can be reached during the trip. Incorrect details may result in the service not being provided, and in such a case the cancellation terms of the service apply.
  • We may refuse a request, for example when there is no availability, when details are missing or when there is a concern of misuse.

6. Prices and payment

  • Prices on the Site are shown in United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) only. The prices on the Site are indicative prices, and they depend on the date, availability and ticket type.
  • The binding price is the price that appears in the written booking confirmation.
  • If there is an obvious error in a price or in another detail on the Site, the error is not binding. We will notify you before payment, and you can decide whether to proceed.
  • The currency actually charged: prices are shown on the Site in dirhams (AED), and the actual charge is made in new Israeli shekels (ILS). The shekel amount is calculated according to a conversion rate that we set, which includes a margin — it is not a bank exchange rate and not the official representative rate. The booking confirmation you receive before payment will show the amount in dirhams, the rate used for the calculation, and the amount in shekels.
  • When the shekel amount is set: for immediate payment — the shekel amount shown in the booking confirmation is the amount you will be charged. If payment at a later date has been agreed, the shekel amount will be set at the time of charging and may differ from the amount shown at the time of booking. The charging date will be stated in the booking confirmation.
  • VAT and invoice: the amount confirmed to you in the booking confirmation is the amount you will be charged, and no VAT or additional charge is added to it on our part. A tax invoice-receipt will be issued for every payment. Most of the services we act as intermediary for are provided outside Israel and are subject to VAT at a zero rate, and therefore no deductible VAT amount will appear on the invoice for them. If you are charged separately for a professional service of ours, the VAT that applies to it will appear on the invoice.
  • Payment methods: bank transfer, Bit, or Visa and Mastercard credit cards. American Express and Diners are accepted with a 1.5% surcharge. We do not accept payment in cash, neither in Israel nor in Dubai.
  • The Site does not collect credit card details and does not ask for them. Do not send us card details on WhatsApp or by email.
  • The price does not include anything that is not specified in the booking confirmation, such as flights, insurance, meals, tips, tourism taxes collected at the hotel and personal expenses.

7. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation and change of a booking are subject to the Cancellation policy, to the cancellation terms in the booking confirmation and to the law. Suppliers may change or cancel a service due to weather, safety, instructions from the authorities or an unexpected closure. In such a case we will offer you an alternative, and if it does not suit you, a refund will be given for the service that was not provided, according to the supplier's terms and the law.

8. Transfers and accommodation

  • Transfers: the pick-up time, the meeting point, the vehicle type and the number of suitcases allowed appear in the booking confirmation. For a transfer from the airport, the correct flight number allows the driver to keep track of the landing time. If you have special equipment, such as a baby stroller, a wheelchair or sports equipment, tell us in advance.
  • Hotels: check-in and check-out times are set by the hotel. On arrival, the hotel may ask for a passport, a credit card for a deposit and payment of local taxes or tourism fees. Special requests, such as a high floor or a double bed, are passed on to the hotel but depend on availability.

9. Your responsibility when travelling

  • Arranging a valid passport, an entry visa and the permits required for the United Arab Emirates is the responsibility of the travellers. Check the requirements with the official authorities before travelling.
  • Arrive at the pick-up point or at the attraction at the time shown in the booking confirmation. Lateness may be treated as a no-show.
  • Follow the supplier's safety instructions and the local rules of conduct and dress.
  • Before strenuous activity, such as a desert safari or water activities, make sure it is suitable for your state of health and that of the children. In the case of pregnancy, back problems, heart disease or another limitation, consult a medical professional and tell us when you book.

10. Communication and complaints about the service

Messages on WhatsApp and by email are considered written notices for all purposes. Make sure that the phone number you gave can be reached during the trip, so that we can update you about changes. If something is wrong during the service, contact us immediately, in real time, so that we can try to resolve the problem with the supplier while that is still possible. Send a complaint after the trip in writing, with the booking details and a description of what happened, and we will look into it with the supplier.

11. The information on the Site

The information on the Site, such as opening hours, the length of tours, what is included and closure dates, is collected from sources cited on each page, with a date of checking. The information changes frequently, and therefore it is advisable to verify it with the source or with us before the trip. The images on the Site are for illustration. The price and details in the booking confirmation prevail over the general information on the Site.

12. Travel warnings and safety

The decision whether to travel is yours. Before booking and before travelling, review the current travel warnings of Israel's National Security Council (NSC) and the instructions of the authorities. The recommendations shown on the Site are a summary, and they do not replace the official guidelines.

If a travel warning changes after the booking has been confirmed, the terms that apply to cancelling the booking are the terms in the booking confirmation and in the cancellation policy, alongside your rights under the law.

13. Insurance

We recommend purchasing suitable travel insurance before the trip, covering medical expenses, trip cancellation and activities such as safaris, water parks and cruises. We do not sell insurance, and the services booked through us do not include insurance unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation.

14. Third-party links and services

The Site contains links to external sites, such as official information sources, and communication with us takes place via WhatsApp. These services are not under our control, and their use is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or for their availability.

15. Intellectual property

The content, texts, design, icons and code on the Site belong to MY DUBAI or to rights holders who have permitted their use, such as photographers who granted a licence to use their photographs. The credit details appear on the Photo credits page. The content may not be copied, distributed, published or used commercially without written permission. Sharing a link to pages on the Site is permitted.

16. Privacy

The information you give us is used to handle the request and the booking, as detailed in the Privacy policy.

17. Liability

MY DUBAI acts as an intermediary in booking tourism services provided by independent suppliers in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, including attraction operators, tour companies, transfer companies and hotels.

MY DUBAI is responsible for the intermediary services it provides, including handling the booking request, passing the details given to it to the relevant supplier and conveying to the customer the information in its possession.

The services themselves are provided and performed by the local suppliers, and responsibility for actually performing the service, including the manner of its performance, staff, equipment, safety, operating hours and operational changes to the service, lies with the relevant supplier, subject to the law.

To the extent permitted by law, MY DUBAI will not be liable for damage, delay, change or cancellation arising from an act or omission of an independent supplier, or from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including weather, the security situation, a strike, an order of an authority, an unexpected closure or a force majeure event.

Nothing in this section derogates from MY DUBAI's liability for its own act or omission, or from a right granted to the customer by law that cannot be contracted out of.

18. Changes to the terms

We may change the terms from time to time. The binding version is the version published on the Site on the date of booking. A change to the terms does not apply to a booking that has already been confirmed in writing and paid for.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

Israeli law applies to these terms and to any booking made through us. Exclusive jurisdiction is vested in the competent courts in Jerusalem, without derogating from the jurisdiction of another court under the provisions of law that apply to consumers.

20. Contact

For questions about the terms, a booking or the service, contact us on WhatsApp or by email. The full details appear on the Business details page.
