About the hotel
The H Dubai is a 5-star hotel with 236 rooms, suites and serviced suites, at the entrance to Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite the World Trade Centre. The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with a city view, and the hotel presents itself as a landmark on the skyline.
The hotel is in a phased renovation, but it is operating. The rooms and suites on selected floors have been renovated, the ground-floor restaurant Eat & Meat has reopened, and the reception is being renovated, so the entrance is through a secondary entrance 20 m away. The official website warns of possible noise during the day.

The pool is temporarily closed at this stage, and Santai Spa is being renovated. Hotel guests have access to the pool of a neighbouring hotel and a shuttle to it. Anyone for whom the pool and the spa are important should take this into account when choosing the date.
The rooms range from the 50-sqm Grand Deluxe for three, through the 80-sqm Executive Premium Suite, up to Family Connecting Rooms of up to 130 sqm for six and the 280-sqm Three Bedroom Suite. The location suits business travel: the World Trade Centre is 600 m away and DIFC 2.3 km. The drawback is that there is no beach, and that 9.4 km from the airport is about 15 minutes.
