About the hotel

Address Sky View is a five-star hotel by the Address brand in Downtown Dubai, on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. It's built as two towers connected by a sky bridge, and officially opened in January 2020. According to Emaar it has 169 hotel rooms and 551 apartments.

What sets it apart is the height. On the 54th floor there's a 70-meter infinity pool facing Burj Khalifa, and on floors 52–53 there's the Sky Views observation deck, with a transparent glass slide. If you want to see Burj Khalifa from above and not just from below, that's the reason to choose it.

The rooms here are especially large: the base Premier Room is 63 sqm, for up to 3 adults or a couple with a child up to 12. Premier Burj Khalifa View rooms (65 sqm) and Club Burj View rooms (62 sqm) face Burj Khalifa, each available with a double bed or two beds. Above them there's a Junior Suite of 85 sqm and an Executive Suite of 90 sqm (up to 4 guests), which can be connected to an extra room through a foyer.

Families have a dedicated solution: Premier Burj View Family Room — two connecting rooms with a total area of 130 sqm, with a king bed and two beds, a balcony and a dressing area, for up to 5 people. At the top of the scale are the Panoramic Suite at 140 sqm, with a large balcony facing Burj Khalifa, and the Presidential Suite at 230 sqm, the only one of its kind in the hotel.

Important for families: the infinity pool on the 54th floor is for ages 18 and up only. According to the hotel's website there are additional pools on the ground floor, without details on ages and hours. The Qix Club kids' club is for ages 4–12 and open daily 10:00–19:00, and 24-hour babysitting can be booked in advance. The spa is open 10:00–22:00, and the gym is open 24 hours, from age 16.

The hotel has 7 restaurants and lounges. CÉ LA VI serves contemporary Asian cuisine, Felicità modern Italian cuisine, and Amelia combines Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. The Restaurant is an all-day dining spot with Mediterranean cuisine, from breakfast to dinner. Alto 54 is a lounge by the infinity pool, Deck Too is by the pool, and The Patisserie is in the lobby.

The downside: the hotel isn't directly connected to Dubai Mall. According to the hotel's website, it's about a 10-minute walk to the mall through an air-conditioned passage. There's no beach. And for families with kids, the pool that's the reason to choose the hotel is closed to them. If a kids' pool matters to you, we'll check with the hotel what's open for children on the ground floor.
