What sets Grosvenor House apart is the combination of a city hotel with beach access. The hotel has no beach of its own, but guests get unlimited entry to Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa, a sister hotel in the same group: a private beach, several pools, more than 10 restaurants and bars, tennis courts and a spa. The standard rooms, Deluxe Room, are 35 sqm and fit up to 3 guests. Couples who want more space can choose the Premier Room (43 sqm), on floors 5–10 of Tower Two, which includes access to the Level 5 lounge with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks. Families are well suited to the Residence apartments: a 2-bedroom apartment (100–107 sqm) for up to 5 guests, and a 3-bedroom apartment (138–150 sqm) for up to 7. The Residences have a fully equipped kitchen.
The hotel has two outdoor pools. The Deck On 4 pool has a children's pool and a lifeguard, and is open 7:00 AM–8:00 PM. The second pool, The Residence Pool, is for adults only, and as of the hotel website's June 2026 snapshot it was marked as temporarily closed. There's no kids' club at the hotel, but the Level 5 lounge has a separate family lounge. The spa, Sanara Spa, is open daily 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, with massages, facials and a steam room.
The food is one of the reasons to choose this hotel. On the 43rd floor is City Social by chef Jason Atherton, and on the 45th floor is Row on 45, by the same chef. The 44th floor has 7 Tales, a Japanese-inspired bar. On the lower floors are Indego by Vineet (Indian food by chef Vineet Bhatia), Toro Toro (South American food), Rhodes W1, the Italian Siena, and Sloane's. Note: as of the hotel website's June 2026 snapshot, Buddha-Bar and Bloom & Brew were marked as temporarily closed.
The location suits anyone planning to get around the city. The nearest metro station is Dubai Marina, and The Walk at JBR is a few minutes from the hotel. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is about 33 km away. The downside: there's no beach at the hotel itself, and every beach day starts with a short shuttle ride. Anyone looking for a resort where you step straight from your room onto the sand, or a kids' club with activities, will find that at Le Royal Méridien itself rather than here.
