Ferrari World is an indoor amusement park on Yas Island, entirely themed around Ferrari. The park sits beneath a huge red roof and is air-conditioned year-round. Anyone looking for Ferrari World in Dubai should know the park is actually in Abu Dhabi, on Yas Island, reached from Dubai by a drive.

The park opened on November 4, 2010. It covers about 86,000 square meters, most of it inside an enclosed structure, and its red roof is designed after the double curve of a Ferrari GT car body. It's the only park in the world entirely dedicated to the brand.

The park has roller coasters, racing attractions, simulators, shows and exhibits on Ferrari's history. The attractions are divided into three zones: an Italian zone, an adventure zone and a family zone. For young children there are small car tracks and gentler rides, such as the Junior Pilota driving school and Bell'Italia, a ride past scaled-down models of Italy's landscapes.

For speed fans there are several major roller coasters. Turbo Track launches through the red roof to a height of 64 meters. Flying Aces, shaped like a biplane, climbs to 63 meters in a loop the park describes as the highest of its kind in the world. In Fiorano GT Challenge, two coasters race each other on parallel tracks. The park's most famous roller coaster is Formula Rossa. According to What's On, in January 2026 it set a Guinness World Record for the fastest roller coaster launch: 0 to 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds, mimicking the launch of a Formula 1 car off the starting line.

It suits families and fans of cars and speed. Some of the bigger rides are currently closed for maintenance, so it's worth checking what's open before visiting. Formula Rossa, the park's famous roller coaster, is closed for maintenance with no return date, and Mission Ferrari is closed until October 17, 2026.

Yas Island has more parks in the same area: Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld. A shuttle runs between the parks, making it easy to combine two in a day or spread the visit over several days.

A few rules worth knowing in advance, per the official website. It's 24°C indoors year-round. There's no re-entry on the same day without management approval. Dress should be modest, and the park recommends knee-length pants and covered shoulders. Children under 1.1 meters tall can only go on some of the rides. The park has stroller and wheelchair rental, lockers, a nursing room, prayer rooms and a lost-and-found near the entrance. Tip: anyone planning more than one park on Yas Island will benefit from a combined ticket for two or three parks.
