About the hotel
FIVE LUXE JBR is a FIVE hotel on The Walk promenade in Jumeirah Beach Residence, with views of Ain Dubai and the marina. It has 222 rooms, suites and lofts, some with a kitchen and private pool. It's a different hotel from FIVE Palm Jumeirah and FIVE Jumeirah Village, which are also part of the chain.

The rooms are large: Superior Studio with a kitchen and sea view is 53 sqm, and Luxe Sea View is 80 sqm with a balcony. All rooms have a freestanding bathtub and rain shower, and suites have a separate living room. For groups and families there are suites with a private pool: 2 bedrooms for up to 5 guests, 3 bedrooms for up to 7, and 4 bedrooms for up to 10.
At the top end of the scale, the hotel offers suites of exceptional size: the 235-sqm Luxe Spa Suite with a jacuzzi and sauna, the 507-sqm Masterpiece Suite, and the 3 BED Euphoria Suite — 843 sqm with three bedrooms, the largest in the hotel. If you're deciding between rooms, the key differences are the view (city vs. sea), a kitchen, and a private pool — each one is noted in the category name.
Despite the vibe, there's a kids' club, HIGH FIVE KIDS CLUB, for ages 2–12, with two free hours a day. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult. The spa, ReFIVE, includes a hammam, quartz beds and an indoor spa pool, and is open 10:00 AM–10:00 PM. The gym is open 24 hours.
The restaurants: Ronin, Japanese with live cooking; Tête à Tête, French; Cielo, for all-day dining; and the sports pub Goose Island Tap House. Playa Pacha serves light Mediterranean food by the pool and beach.
The downside: this is a hotel built around parties and music, so anyone looking for quiet should look elsewhere. The rules are also strict: no speakers in rooms, no loud music after 10:00 PM, and the maximum number of guests per room includes visitors. There's no self-parking, valet only.
