Private Night Safari in the Dubai Desert with Stargazing and Dinner

The drive: pickup is from Dubai in a private air-conditioned vehicle, with a return to Dubai at the end. You cross the desert in a vintage 1950s Land Rover, on a night drive in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. In the dark, the vehicle and the landscape create an atmosphere completely different from the daytime.

Night animals: on a walk through the Royal Grounds you look for nocturnal animals by torchlight and by UV light. Even daytime animals come out of their hideouts at night to drink and forage after the heat. By UV light you walk through the dunes hunting for the small creatures of the desert, so it suits anyone who likes to discover things.

The camp and dinner: after the walk you arrive at an open Bedouin camp, where you sit in the cool desert air under a canopy of stars. A 3-course dinner and drinks are served. It is a chance to rest and sit at ease after the drive and the walk.

Astronomy: at the camp there is a stargazing session with a telescope. A professional guide talks about the sky and the celestial bodies, and you can see them up close. The session is also for those with no knowledge of astronomy, and it completes the evening naturally.
