Superior One-Bedroom Apartments
A one-bedroom apartment, suitable for couples and solo travellers

Palm Jumeirah · Families
Serviced apartments (not a classic hotel) on Palm Jumeirah: 131 apartments, a full kitchen in every apartment, a rooftop pool and a 24-hour front desk.
Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai is a serviced-apartment complex on Palm Jumeirah, not a classic hotel. It is the first Cheval Collection property outside the UK, and the company has operated luxury apartments for over 40 years, with roots in London. The complex has 131 apartments spread over 10 floors.
The difference is fundamental: instead of a room with a bed and a bathroom, every guest gets a full apartment with a living area, a separate bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The official website notes that this is especially useful when travelling with children, or when you don't want to depend on a hotel breakfast. You can book a single night, as in a hotel.
The apartment options range from one-bedroom apartments up to three-bedroom apartments, and on the 10th floor there is a three-bedroom penthouse. The apartments page lists the Superior One-Bedroom (suitable for couples and solo travellers), the Luxury One-Bedroom (with a balcony) and the Deluxe One-Bedroom (with a balcony and a separate study). The apartment sizes are not detailed in the pages we loaded, so we will confirm apartment size and occupancy with you when you book.
The complex has a rooftop pool, a private gym for guests and a ground-floor restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and drinks throughout the day. You can also order drinks by the pool. There is also access to the beach, for a fee. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and helps with restaurant bookings, deliveries and transfers.
Palm Jumeirah Mall is 50 metres away, a few minutes' walk, and inside it is a monorail station that connects to other attractions on the Palm. The Aquaventure water park is 5 km away, Dubai Marina 7.5 km, and Ski Dubai 10 km. Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall are 21 km away, so getting there relies on a taxi.
The drawbacks: this is not a hotel, so it doesn't have the range of restaurants, pools and leisure services of a big resort on the Palm. The distance to Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and the aquarium is 21 km. Beach access is for a fee. It suits families and anyone who wants a long stay with a kitchen, and less those looking for a resort holiday with a kids' club and a spa.

The palm-shaped island: Atlantis and resorts with private beaches. There is a monorail.
Cut off from the rest of the city, so you depend on taxis. No budget options.
