This is a three-hour cruise aboard a tri-deck Sunseeker superyacht departing from Dubai Harbour. It brings food, drinks, music and views together in a single evening, without planning several venues. It suits couples, friends and small groups who want an impressive time on the water.
You can choose between two kinds of departure. A sunset cruise runs from 16:00 to 19:00, and an evening cruise from 20:00 to 23:00. The sunset cruise also leaves time for a swim in daylight. On the evening cruise the focus is atmosphere: a DJ and a live saxophonist set a night-out mood while the skyline lights up around you. The date is chosen at booking, and each one has a fixed time window.
The voyage starts when you step aboard and find an indoor lounge and open-air decks across several levels. You can wander between the decks and watch the city while the yacht sets out on a smooth sail. The route passes the Burj Al Arab, Atlantis hotel and the Ain Dubai wheel, with sunset skyline views. The yacht is 40 metres long, but the vessel may change for weather or capacity reasons.
The food: at the heart of the experience is a live sushi station where chefs prepare omakase-style selections throughout the cruise. Zen-Med fusion canapés are served too. As for drinks, the ticket includes unlimited champagne, Prosecco, cocktails and premium beverages. Every guest also gets a premium drink at the red carpet welcome.
The entertainment: a DJ and a live saxophonist, and shisha as well. The sunset cruise is more relaxed and the evening cruise livelier. Towels and slippers are included on cruises where swimming is available.
Swimming is possible only on the afternoon cruise, between 16:00 and 19:00. Children aged 12 and over may swim. All guests receive life jackets. Bring sun protection and a light layer for the hours on the water, and dress smart casual. Footwear is not worn on board, so wear comfortable shoes for getting there and boarding, and note they stay off the yacht.
Ages: the ticket is for ages 5 and over. Children up to 11 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The number of guests per voyage is limited: the maximum is 30 VIP guests, and at least two guests are needed for the cruise to run. The small group is part of the comfort, and also a reason to book ahead.
What to bring: a passport or Emirates ID, and your booking confirmation, printed or on your phone. Arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before your time, and earlier is fine: 30 minutes before is recommended, check-in closes 15 minutes before departure, and the safety briefing starts 10 minutes before.
Departure point: Dubai Harbour, Bay Marina, between the Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters Island. The exact meeting point is coordinated with us after booking, as departure points in the harbour can differ from those listed elsewhere.
Cruises depend on the weather and on approval from the Coast Guard and National Guard. The experience may also be adjusted because of sea conditions. It is always wise to choose a date with some margin, rather than the last day of your trip.
