About the hotel
Hilton Dubai Jumeirah is a beach hotel on the JBR strip, in Tower A of The Walk. It has its own private beach, an outdoor pool, and views of Palm Jumeirah and the bay. It's a hotel built around a beach day: sea, pool, watersports, and restaurants, within walking distance of the promenade.
The main advantage is the private beach, where most hotels nearby rely on the public beach. On the beach there's a playground with swings and slides for little ones, and jet skis, banana boats, and parasailing can be booked through the concierge. By the pool there's a swim-up bar, H2O Pool Bar, open 11:00–19:00.

Every room has a balcony, with a view of the sea, Ain Dubai, or the promenade. Most standard rooms suit up to 3 guests, with a double bed or two Queen beds. A family of four will want a Family Suite with a sea view, which has a separate living room. Connecting rooms are also available subject to availability. Executive rooms include access to the lounge, with breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening drinks.
The hotel is built for families. Kidz Paradise welcomes children aged 4–12 every day 9:30–18:30, with crafts, face painting, movies, and dancing. Teens have a Game Zone open until 22:00. Children receive a coloring book at check-in, and every restaurant has a kids' menu and high chairs. Babysitting from age 2 can be booked for a fee, a day in advance. Parents have a spa and a gym.
The hotel and the adjacent hotel together have around 10 restaurants and bars. Villa Verona is Italian, Trader Vic's is Polynesian, McGettigan's is an Irish pub with sports on ten screens, and Marbar is a rooftop tapas bar on the 10th floor. Breakfast is at Oceana Kitchen, with themed evenings. Pure Sky Lounge and Hartisan are at the adjoining Hilton The Walk.
The downside is the distance from the city center. Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa are 25 km away, and DXB Airport is about a 45-minute drive. Anyone planning many days of downtown attractions will be doing a lot of driving.
