What sets it apart is the size and independence. The smallest room is 60 sqm, and every unit has a kitchen or kitchenette. Room equipment includes a stovetop, fridge, cookware and a washing machine. A family can cook breakfast, do the kids' laundry mid-trip, and save on a lot of restaurant outings. The Al Jaddaf metro station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

A couple will do well in the King Bedroom, 60 sqm with a king bed. A family of four needs the Two Bedroom Suite, 230 sqm with two bedrooms and a living room, for up to 4 guests. A large family can choose the Three Bedroom Suite, 300 sqm for up to 6 guests. There are also interconnecting family rooms, subject to availability.
The hotel has an outdoor pool with a jacuzzi and a separate children's pool, open daily 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. There's no kids' club, but a babysitter can be booked. Bodylines club has a gym, sauna, steam room and massage rooms, with treatments from age 18. Next to the hotel, at the TopSpin center, there are tennis and padel courts and a football pitch.
There are five dining venues: Timo, Mediterranean, open all day and family-friendly, Stouff Beirut serving Lebanese food for lunch and dinner, The Tea Room serving tea and pastries, The List Bar an evening bar, and Aquarius the pool bar. The hotel also offers all-inclusive packages.
The downside: there's no beach, and the Al Jaddaf district is quiet with not much to do on foot in the evening. On the other hand, the hotel runs a free shuttle to Kite Beach, and the Dubai Frame is 4 km from the hotel with Dubai Mall 6 km away. Anyone looking for a resort hotel with a beach and kids' club will do better in Jumeirah or on the Palm.
