SIRO One Za'abeel

The rooms are built for good sleep and for training: the SIRO Plus room (46–50 sqm) has a temperature-controlled mattress and in-room fitness equipment. Most rooms and suites are designed for up to 2 adults. For 3 adults there's the SIRO Premium Double Queen (60 sqm), with two queen beds. The suites, at 120 sqm, include a private treatment room, and the Fitness Suite also has a training area.

There's no spa in the usual sense and no beach here. Instead of its own pool, hotel guests have access to the Garden Pool at the One Za'abeel complex. The food takes a wellness approach too: Angel Wellness Club serves dishes, shakes and functional drinks, and there are build-your-own meals that can be ordered to the room. Anyone wanting a restaurant can head down to the restaurants at The Link, in the same complex.

The location is convenient for business: steps from the World Trade Centre, about a 10-minute drive to Dubai Mall and Downtown, and about 15 minutes from DXB Airport. The downside: this is a hotel that mainly suits adults. The rooms have low occupancy limits, the gym is for ages 16 and up, and there's no beach. Families with children, or anyone looking for a classic pampering getaway, will find a better fit at a different hotel.
