Jumeirah Mina Al Salam is the beach hotel of the Madinat Jumeirah resort, in the Umm Suqeim area. It has 292 rooms and suites after renovation, each with a balcony overlooking the sea or the waterways. The hotel describes its own style as a boutique-style beach hotel with Arabian design.
The beach is the reason to choose it. The hotel has a 2km private beach with views of Burj Al Arab. Free kayaks and paddleboards for hotel guests, plus diving and motorized water sports. Souk Madinat Jumeirah is in the same resort, and you can take an abra ride along the waterways.

The entry-level room, Arabian Deluxe, is 46 sqm with a 7 sqm balcony, and fits up to 4 guests: three adults and a child, or two adults and two children (children up to age 11). For a direct sea view there's the Ocean Deluxe (45 sqm). For a family of 5–6 there's the Two Bedroom Deluxe Family Room, connecting rooms with a private entrance, at 90 sqm.
Club rooms include breakfast at Cala Vista, plus afternoon tea and evening drinks at Al Samar Lounge. Ocean suites and above get in-suite check-in, and some also include an airport transfer. The Ocean Terrace Suite has a 112 sqm balcony with a jacuzzi.
The hotel has an infinity pool and a plunge pool, a gym and a Club lounge. There's also a kids club, Jumeirah Circle. The spa is Talise Spa, part of Madinat Jumeirah. For dining, the hotel has seven restaurants and bars, including Zheng He's, Shimmers, Bahri Bar and Hanaaya, and guests have access to more than 50 restaurants across the whole resort.
Good to know: Wild Wadi Waterpark, which appears on the hotel's website as part of the stay, is temporarily closed according to the hotel's policy page. Another drawback is that the official site lists no star rating and no opening year. It's about 23 km from DXB Airport. Anyone looking for a hotel with more pools and a bigger in-building kids club will find that at Jumeirah Al Naseem, in the same resort.
