A beach club in Dubai is the easy way to get a day of sea and pool, even if you are not staying at a beachfront hotel. You buy a day pass and get a sunbed, a towel, a pool and a private beach. Palm Jumeirah has some of the best-known clubs in the city, with views of Burj Al Arab, the Marina and the Dubai skyline. On this page we have gathered three places that are very different from one another.
RIVA Beach Club is at The Shoreline, building 8, on the trunk of the Palm. It is an independent beach club with a heated pool, a private beach and views of the bay, Burj Al Arab and the Downtown Dubai skyline. Entry includes a sunbed, a parasol, a towel, changing rooms and a welcome drink. The restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine. The club is open every day between 7:00 and 23:00, and parking is free. There is a child ticket, which makes it a good choice for families.
Fluid Beach Club is inside the Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort hotel, on the west crescent of the Palm. It has a pool and a private beach with views of the Marina, Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa, and DJ music. Entry is from age 18. With us you can book two kinds of entry: a pool and beach day with a discount on food and drink on site, or lunch with a bottle of wine at the hotel's Envy restaurant followed by a day at the club's pool.
Fairmont The Palm is a large hotel on the trunk of the Palm, with a private beach and pools. The day pass gives you a sunbed at the pool or on the beach, towels, a parasol, lockers, changing rooms, and also access to the steam room and the sauna. There is a family pool and an adults-only pool, from age 21. Thursday to Sunday there is live music. The food comes from Bask, with a Mediterranean and Asian inspired menu, paid separately.
How do you choose? With children, RIVA or the Fairmont. A couple or friends who want a young atmosphere with music, Fluid. Anyone who wants lunch to be part of the day will choose the Fluid lunch package. Anyone looking for a large hotel with several pools, a sauna and hotel service will choose the Fairmont.

The comfortable season for a beach day is roughly October to April. In summer it is very hot in the middle of the day, so it is worth arriving in the morning, sitting in the shade and drinking plenty. At weekends there are more people. At Fairmont the beach is open between 10:00 and 19:00, and the pools between 7:00 and 19:00.
