Yas Plaza Mangroves

The entry-level Deluxe rooms are 36 sqm, with a king bed or twin beds, and all of them have a sofa bed. You can choose a plaza view or a view of the sea, the golf course and the race track, with or without a balcony. The one-bedroom suites are 72 sqm, with a separate living room and a balcony. Families get a two-bedroom suite, 106 sqm, made up of connecting rooms with a king bed and twin beds.

The hotel has an outdoor pool and a kids' pool with a certified lifeguard, open from 7:00 to 20:00, and a spa offering massages and facials, open from 10:00 to 21:00. Hotel guests also get shared access to the pools, the wellness facilities and the 21 restaurants across all the Yas Plaza hotels, which sit side by side.

For food, the hotel itself has Belgian Café, a pub serving Belgian dishes and beers, open from midday until 2:00, and the Italian Filini Garden, which is temporarily closed. There's also a pool bar and room service. Cyan Beach, which Yas Plaza guests normally use, is temporarily closed according to a notice on the IHG website, so there's currently no active beach attached to the hotel.

The location suits anyone visiting for the island itself: according to the IHG website, Ferrari World is 2 km away, Yas Waterworld 3.5 km, and Warner Bros. World 4 km, along with Etihad Arena, also on the island. Another advantage: Zayed International Airport is only about 6.5 km from the hotel — very convenient for the first or last night of a trip. Anyone wanting to visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque or central Abu Dhabi will need to travel about 20 km.

A few more practical details: parking is free, in an underground car park with valet service and EV charging points, and there's a free local shuttle. The whole hotel is non-smoking. Pets up to 35 kg are accepted for a one-time fee and with a signed agreement. On weekends, breakfast is served 6:30–10:30.
