A golden tower with 505 rooms and suites on Sheikh Zayed Road, a short walk from the metro, with a rooftop pool on the 12th floor, a high lounge at 280 metres, a spa and a gym.
Gevora Hotel is a golden tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, near the Financial Center Metro Station. It has 505 rooms and suites, and until 2025 it held the Guinness World Record for the tallest hotel in the world.
What sets it apart is the height: rooms with a view of Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Zayed Road, and the Highest View lounge at 280 metres. On the 12th floor there is a terrace with a pool and a bar, with a view of Downtown.
The rooms range from 46-sqm King rooms, with a view of the city, Burj Khalifa or Sheikh Zayed Road, through one-bedroom suites of 62 and 63 sqm, up to a penthouse of about 1,000 sqm. A King room with a Burj Khalifa view suits a couple, and a suite with a bedroom and a separate living area suits a family of three.
The pool on the terrace also has a shallow splash area for small children and a heated hydrotherapy pool. The spa has a dry sauna and a steam room, and there is a separate gym for women and for men.
At Gevora Kitchen, a buffet breakfast is served between 6:30 and 11:00, and lunch and dinner are served from a menu of more than 80 dishes. Le Veyron Café serves specialty coffee and a boutique tea, and at Overview Pool Lounge you can sit with drinks and shisha. You can book a stay with breakfast or half board.
The location is convenient for Downtown, DIFC and Burj Khalifa, and for anyone getting around by metro. The drawback is that the hotel is on Sheikh Zayed Road and not on a beach. It suits less those looking for a beach holiday.
