About the hotel
Vida Creek Harbour is a 4-star city hotel of the Vida chain, in the new Dubai Creek Harbour neighbourhood on Dubai Creek, in the Ras Al Khor area. Its character is young and relaxed: a lobby with a co-working space, restaurants on the promenade, and a pool overlooking the Downtown skyline.
What sets it apart is the marina location and a sunset you watch from the pool. The pool terrace serves as a viewing deck, and the way down to the promenade starts right in the lobby, so you can go for a run, a ride or a meal without getting into a car. Bicycles are lent to guests free of charge.

The rooms range from 32-sqm Deluxe rooms, which suit a couple or a couple with a child, up to suites. The Premier Suites are 65 sqm for three adults, and the Executive Suite is 95 sqm with a wraparound balcony and a kitchenette. For a larger family there are 64-sqm Family Stay rooms: two interconnected Deluxe rooms for up to five people, no more than three of them adults.
The official website does not list a kids' club. What there is: the infinity pool, and the marina promenade with playgrounds and Creek Play, the world's longest play promenade according to the hotel. There is no spa in the hotel: it refers guests to the spa of Address Grand Creek Harbour, a few steps away.
Food is split across several venues: The Courtyard is an international restaurant with outdoor seating and a view of the creek, Stage2 is a lounge for light bites, Soulgreen is an organic vegetarian restaurant, and there are also the Turkish-Greek EGE Restaurant and Kiyoshi, a bar with snacks. The gym is open 24 hours, and the lobby co-working space includes free Wi-Fi and charging stations.
The area cuts both ways: Dubai Creek Harbour is a new neighbourhood, different from the busy centre of the city, so every trip to Downtown or the beach is a drive. It is about 15 minutes to DXB Airport, and the hotel runs a shuttle to Dubai Mall. Anyone who wants nightlife, a beach or a spa inside the hotel will find it a weaker fit. Anyone who wants a base with a view, a promenade and a pool will like it.
