Your First Dive in Dubai: Discover Scuba for beginners, no experience needed

Anyone who has never dived can try a Discover Scuba introductory dive in Dubai: a first dive in the sea, with a certified instructor, designed for beginners. The dive lasts about 45 minutes and takes place in the Jumeirah Beach area.

How it works: you start with a safety briefing and an explanation of the equipment, and continue with a general overview of diving and basic demonstrations in the water. Then you put on an individual wetsuit that is handed to you at the location, enter the water with the instructor and practice breathing through the regulator. The descent is gradual: first down to one meter to get used to it, and then deeper, down to 12 meters (about 40 feet). Underwater you see fish, corals and colorful marine life, and the instructor guides you all the way.

What is included: all diving equipment, a diving instructor and underwater photos you can take home. A swimsuit and hotel transfers are not included. The dive is for ages 12 to 65.

Meeting point: you meet at a dive center at the Azure Residences complex on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The activity runs at a fixed time slot, and you choose the time when you book.

What to bring: a swimsuit and a reusable water bottle. Arrive 15 minutes before and show your voucher on your phone or printed together with a photo ID. If you have a medical condition, consult a doctor before booking.

Who is it for? Anyone who wants to try diving without committing to a course, couples and friends, and families with teenagers of the right ages. If you are already a certified diver, a different dive suits you better.
