About the hotel
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is Jumeirah's newest hotel, on Umm Suqeim beach. It opened on 14 March 2025, between Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab, and its curved building is designed to evoke a superyacht. It has 300 rooms and 86 suites, alongside a private marina with a promenade.
What sets it apart is that every room gets a balcony, with one of two views: the sea and Burj Al Arab, or the marina and the city skyline. The entry-level room is already large, 67 sqm including the balcony. Suites include breakfast, butler assistance and access to the Iliana Pool Club, and the larger suites also have a private plunge pool.

Standard rooms and suites accommodate 2 adults and 2 children up to age 12, or 3 adults. Couples suit the Ocean Deluxe Room, with views of Burj Al Arab. Families of 5–6 suit the Two Bedroom Ocean Family Room (146 sqm), two adjoining rooms, for up to 6 adults or 5 adults and 3 children.
The hotel has 4 pools: the resort pool, the adults-only Kinugawa pool, the Iliana Pool Club for suite guests, and an indoor pool at the spa. For children there's a family club, Jumeirah Circle. The spa, Talise, spans 3 floors, with 13 treatment suites, a ladies-only area, a hammam and a 20-metre indoor pool.
On dining, according to the hotel's website there are 11 restaurants and 4 bars at the hotel, plus 5 more restaurants and cafés along the marina promenade. Among the names: Rialto, Kinugawa, Madame Li, The Bombay Club, Umi Kei and Pierre Hermé Paris. Guests wanting a change of scenery can take a free buggy to the other Jumeirah beach hotels.
A few things worth knowing in advance. The minimum check-in age is 18. The nearby Wild Wadi water park is temporarily closed according to the policy page, and Burj Al Arab, the neighbour on the other side, is closed for renovation until around October 2027. Anyone looking for a water park right next to the hotel won't find one here at the moment.

- Check-in from 15:00 and check-out until 12:00. Arriving early in the morning? To get a room straight away you need to book the previous night as well.
