The Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark is in Umm Hurair, and has 16 rides and attractions. It is a new park, covering about 20,000 square metres. It is built for all ages, so it suits families and groups.

The ticket: the option on the page is a single-day ticket, with all-day access to the 16 rides and attractions. Entry is immediate, and there are staff both in the hotel lobby and at the park entrance who can help and answer questions.

Surfing without the sea: the park has the FlowRider Triple Surf Simulator, the first triple-lane surf simulator in the Middle East. On it you test your balance on rolling artificial waves.

Slides: Drop Loop drops in a near-vertical plunge, Aqua Twist winds through spirals, and there are high-speed slides that end in a splashdown. The park has two tower slides, including the Boomerango slide.

Family and group fun: you can race your friends on Parallel Pursuit or spin through Funbolic. The park also has a family zone with slides and a splash area for children.

Relaxing: there is a wave pool with a sand beach, a lazy river and shaded rest areas between the rides. The park also has cabanas, some with private plunge pools.

What is included: entry to the Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark and all-day access to 16 rides and attractions.

Rides and restrictions: height and health restrictions apply to some of the rides, and it is worth checking them before you queue. At times some of the rides are closed for maintenance.

Dress: modest clothing is recommended in line with local customs at public venues. Comfortable clothes and shoes suit a full day of rides and walking.

Time slot: you choose a specific time slot when you book. It is best to arrive early, to enjoy the day and shorten your waiting time in queues.

Who can enter: the adult ticket is for age 13 and over, and the child ticket is for children up to age 12.

Cancellation: this option is non-refundable.

What to bring: sun protection, a hat and a refillable water bottle, especially in the warmer months.

Who is it for? Families with children, groups of friends and thrill-seekers who want a full day of slides and waves inside the city. Anyone looking only for a quiet pool should know that the park is built around its rides.

The waterpark is a new addition to the Grand Hyatt Dubai estate, a hotel that opened in 2003. The park opened in autumn 2025.
