A flower bath in Dubai has become one of the most photographed and shared experiences of recent years. At Soul Senses Spa in Oasis Mall, it comes as a 90-minute package: first a 60-minute massage, then 30 minutes in a warm bath filled with fresh flowers. The inspiration comes from the flower baths of Indonesia and Bali.
Soul Senses Spa & Wellness is a local spa chain founded in 2012. It has dozens of branches across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, most inside hotels and some in malls. The Oasis Mall branch is on the 3rd floor, near the second interchange of Sheikh Zayed Road. It has treatment rooms for singles and couples, a steam room, sauna, cold plunge pool, Moroccan hammam, and a dedicated flower bath room.
What does the visit look like? You arrive at the spa, receive a welcome drink, and start with the massage. You can choose between a gentle, soothing aromatherapy massage or a deep tissue massage, suited to tight, tense muscles. Traditional Thai massage is also on the list. After the massage, you move on to the bath.
The bath comes in a few themes to choose from: a red grape, lime, and cinnamon bath; an aromatic milk bath, meant to soothe and nourish the skin; and a Cleopatra bath, with rose petals and fresh milk. The bath is prepared in advance with flowers, fragrant extracts, and warm water, and you stay in it for half an hour. Dried fruit and dark chocolate are served during the bath.
You can use the steam room and sauna before or after the treatment. If you want photos from the bath, you can ask the staff to shoot them on your phone, at no extra cost. That's one reason the experience is so popular on social media.
Who is it for? Couples looking for a relaxed evening together, birthday or anniversary celebrations, and anyone wanting to unwind after a few days of walking in the heat. There's a package for one and a package for couples, where you both get the treatment in the same room. The packages are for ages 18 and up.
If you want more than the package, you can extend your visit directly with the spa. The Soul Senses menu also includes Swedish massage, Balinese massage, hot stone massage, sports massage, and facials. For groups of up to six, there are celebration packages, for example a bachelorette party or a birthday. All of these are arranged directly with the venue and are not part of our package.
Oasis Mall is a neighborhood mall on Sheikh Zayed Road, between Downtown and Al Quoz. Parking at the mall is free, so it's easy to get there by car. It's also a convenient spot to end a day of shopping or head to before dinner.

The spa is open every day from 10:00 until midnight, so you can book a treatment in the evening as well, after a day out. A flower bath in the evening suits couples especially well. In summer, the midday hours are a good chance to escape the heat for an hour and a half of quiet.
