The ActionFlight G-Force flight is an aerobatic experience for anyone who wants real adrenaline. You sit in a competition aerobatic aircraft with an experienced pilot, and feel rolls, loops and G-forces above the Ras Al Khaimah coast. The activity takes place at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, not in Dubai.

The aircraft is an Extra 330, an aerobatic plane. The company is an air operator approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and it operates only this model, a type that won the world championship in the Unlimited category. The aircraft is certified to ±10G, but passengers typically experience about +4G to -2G depending on their comfort level.

The flight lasts about 20 minutes in the air. You communicate with the pilot throughout, and the pilot tailors the routine to your comfort level: you can start gently or go for the maximum. Speeds reach about 400 km/h, and flights usually take place at roughly 2,000 to 6,000 feet along the emirate's coast. Besides the aerobatics there is the view: from the air you see the coastline, the mountains and the desert.

Before the flight: a pilot briefing and a flight suit and helmet fitting. After landing you receive a flight certificate signed by your pilot. The aircraft carries one passenger per flight. That means you are alone with the pilot, and you cannot fly with a partner or friend in the same aircraft. Allow plenty of time: set aside about 3 hours for the whole experience, depending on the distance from your hotel.

Restrictions: the minimum age is 12. The maximum height is 1.93 metres and the maximum weight 110 kg. Pregnant women and people who have recently had surgery cannot take part. If you have heart, back, neck or blood-pressure problems, consult a doctor before booking, as we did not find a full medical restrictions list from an official source.

What to wear: comfortable clothing or sportswear that fits under the flight suit, and trainers or closed shoes. Boots and heels are not suitable. A kandura or dishdasha is not recommended, as it conflicts with the cockpit and harness. No loose items are allowed in the aircraft, such as bags, phones, sunglasses and coins.

Security approval: because the flight departs from an airport, airport security pre-approval is required for every passenger. After booking you must send a copy of your identity documents to the address we send you, and complete a liability waiver. On the day bring your passport or ID and your mobile phone. Airport entry is included in the ticket.

Getting there: the meeting point is Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT), in the Al Mathloothah area. Transport to and from the airport is not included in the ticket. Pick-up from central points in Ras Al Khaimah is arranged in advance, by arrangement and for an extra charge. Plan your route from Dubai accordingly.

Operating hours depend on the season: in summer flights run in the early morning and late afternoon, and in winter through most of the day. Flights depend on the weather and on pilot availability. If you are coming from Dubai, choose a date with some margin rather than the last day of your trip.
